How to organise a party with your neighbours

With another bank holiday nearly upon us, as well as the Queen’s 70th Jubilee anniversary, many people are taking the opportunity to get to know their neighbours by hosting a street party at the start of next month! If you’d like to do something similar, but don’t know where to start, we recommend checking out some of these helpful guides…

  • The Eden Project run an annual project called The Big Lunch and have some brilliant resources for how you could shape something in your community: click here

  • With Easton once being named the Street Party Community of the UK, Bristol has it’s very own website guide for local residents who want to host their own party: click here

  • The team at Eastside Community Trust are holding a FREE information session, all about how to host your own street party. Find out more here

  • Not enough time to organise a full street party? Check out this great local guide from Love Horfield about how to organise a ‘street meet’ instead: click here

If you haven’t got the capacity to host something yourself this year, why not pop along to an event that someone else is running instead:
