The Friday Café… Westbury- on- Trym Baptist. A space to connect.

The idea for the Friday Café began with a simple observation — parents and children often stopped to chat outside the church after school. Those relaxed, friendly moments inspired a new vision: to create a welcoming space where families can connect, rest, and build relationships together.

Held after school on Fridays, the café offers a chance to unwind at the end of the week. It’s a place for parents, carers, and children to enjoy refreshments and community in a safe, friendly environment.

The Friday Café is run entirely by volunteers and made possible through their generosity and enthusiasm.

Gavin Ball, Children, Youth and Families Leader at Westbury-on-Trym Baptist Church, shares:

“Please pray for us — especially that we can build relationships with the people who come.”
