Supporting asylum seekers in Bristol

Bristol is home to many asylum seekers who have had to leave everything behind and flee their country to escape violence, war or persecution. Some of them are now living in hotels. We are calling churches across Bristol to support this vulnerable group by opening a new Welcome Hub in the city centre to welcome and support asylum-seeking families and individuals stuck in hotels.

This is a moment for churches across Bristol to unite and provide prayer, volunteers and funding.

The Welcome Hub will be run by a cross-church group of volunteers. Sign-up to express interest in becoming a volunteer on this simple expression of interest form.

You can donate via the Bristol Churches City Fund 'Support for Asylum Seekers' appeal.

We hope and pray this will be an opportunity to show that everyone is welcome in Bristol: a City of Sanctuary and a City of Hope.
