Volunteers Transform a Local Garden and Make a Real Difference
Our latest practical project brought together an incredible team of volunteers to support a local resident who has been struggling with their garden.
The resident's garden had become difficult to manage, making it hard to use and enjoy. With plenty of enthusiasm, teamwork and determination, our volunteers rolled up their sleeves and got to work on a very warm evening.
By the end of the evening, a significant amount of rubbish had been cleared, overgrown areas had been tackled, and the garden had been transformed into a space that is once again safe, accessible and enjoyable.
Projects like this show how a few hours of volunteering can have a lasting impact, helping people remain connected to their homes and improving their wellbeing.
A huge thank you to everyone who gave their time, energy and hard work to make this project such a success. You should all be incredibly proud of what you've achieved.
If you'd like to get involved in one of our future practical projects, we'd love to hear from you. Please get in touch at info@thenoise.org.uk to find out more about volunteering and how you can help make a difference in your local community.
Well done to the team of volunteers who made this happen.
We have many more projects lined up, these have been sent to us from housing officers, family hubs and schools. However we need volunteers to help us complete them!
