Bristol Thriving Communities Report

Noise 365 is named as part of the delivery framework of a new report 'Investing in churches' capacity to see change in our city' from Bristol Thriving Communities project, a collaboration between Good Faith Partnership and Christian Action Bristol.

“The report demonstrates that churches are more than just places of worship, but vital contributors to a thriving Bristol, collaborating with key charities, the local authority, and each other."

It identifies three key barriers (economic resource, human resource, and inclusion) to church communities being able to engage further in social transformation efforts.

Recommendations to overcome these barriers and practical next steps include: equipping local churches in more areas of the city to use Noise 365’s organisational learnings to best coordinate local social action.

Luke Goodway (Church Leader, Waterbrook Church and Noise 365 Development Worker) said "Since pivoting Bristol Noise to Noise 365, we have been really encouraged to be part of conversations where we are able to join our voice with others to see as many communities impacted positively and holistically. This is a timely piece of work that we are grateful to our colleagues at Good Faith Partnership for producing.”
